Installation


	Application and Appointment You can apply for TIME Fibre Broadband via our online application form, or contact our account manager or dealer. TIME will call you to set an appointment date for installation or you can select a date to your convenience. Before the scheduled installation date, our TIME installer will make a courtesy call to confirm the installation and come to your home to run a fiber connection to your premise.
	Installation Our TIME installer will mount an Optical Network Unit (ONU), a very small box, near your existing telephone box or wherever you prefer and a fibre cabling from an adjacent telephone pole will be run to the newly installed ONU
	Setup The ONU will be connected to your computer with an ethernet cable and the configuration will be set. Your PC will also be setup for Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) connection to control the access. Once completed, a signal test will be performed on the connection and you will be guided you on how to use the equipment before our TIME installer leaves. To connect the ONU to your home router, please note what while our engineers may assist in the configuration, it is the responsibility of the owner to configure and operate the home router properly at all times. 	Completion Our TIME installer will provide you a Welcome Kit containing helpful information and TIME contact number for further enquiries and assistance. All work areas will be cleaned up and you will need to sign the docket for acceptance of the service and submit the necessary documents. Before the scheduled installation date, our TIME installer will make a courtesy call to confirm the installation and come to your home to run a fiber connection to your premise.
	Things to keep in mind Set aside at least 3 hours for installation. It is recommended that an adult (18 years and older) be present during the installation process by our engineers.
