Promotion Information Details

This promotion (“Promotion”) (details of which are set out below) is available only to Eligible Customers who meet the Promotion Qualifications during the Promotion Period only and is subject to the terms and conditions as contained herein. Participation in any promotion or acceptance of any gift, vouchers or rebates by Eligible Customers is deemed to be acceptance of the Promotion Terms and Conditions.

How to Participate?

  1. Check Coverage: Visit the Time Internet event booth at Ipoh Parade from 21-24 November 2024 to check if your address is within Time Fibre Home’s coverage area in Perak.
  2. Complete the Entry Form: If you’re within the coverage area, fill out the participation entry form at the event.
  3. Address Accuracy: Ensure all details on the entry form are accurate. The free broadband service will be tied to the address provided on the form and is not transferable to any other address.

One (1) winner will be chosen from eligible entries submitted during the on-ground Time Fibre Home event at Ipoh Parade, running from 21-24 November 2024.

  1. Winner Selection: A lucky draw will be conducted to select one (1) winner from all eligible entries.
  2. Notification: The winner will receive an official email with redemption details within 14 days after the contest ends. The email will be sent to the email address provided on the entry form.
  3. Contact Attempts: Upon receiving the notification email, a sales representative will contact the winner within 24 hours. We will attempt to reach the winner up to three times via the contact number on the entry form AND drop a message on WhatsApp. If there is no reply to our WhatsApp message within 24 hours, the winning entry will be deemed invalid, and a re-draw will occur.
  4. Winner Eligibility Verification: Time reserves the right to verify the winner’s eligibility, address, and other entry details before confirming the prize. If any information is found to be inaccurate or does not meet the contest criteria, the prize may be forfeited, and a re-draw will take place.
  5. Service Activation: The winner must sign up for and activate their Time Fibre Home service within 2 months of receiving the winner notification email.

Additional Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years or older, with a service address within Time Fibre Home coverage area in Perak. Multiple entries allowed. Service addresses stated as within coverage of Time Fibre Business will be excluded as well.
  2. Eligible Plans: The selected winner may only subscribe to Time’s 24-month 200Mbps, 600Mbps, or 1Gbps plans to claim the Discount Promotion. The value of the Discount Promotion will correspond to 12 months of the chosen plan’s monthly fees.
  3. Winner’s Responsibilities:
    • Existing Service Termination: If the winner resides in a building where circumstances do not permit the installation of Time Fibre Home as an additional service (e.g., a prelaid building), and the winner is currently subscribed to another provider, they must terminate that service to switch to Time Fibre Home in order to redeem the free 1-year broadband service. The winner is responsible for any termination costs incurred with their current provider. Failure of the winner to accommodate activation of Time Fibre Home within 2 months of receiving the winner notification email shall result in Time exercising Its right to forfeit the prize.
    • Non-Standard Installation Fees: The winner is responsible for any installation fees associated with non-standard installation requests that may apply when activating their Time Fibre Home service.
  4. Ineligibility for Current Subscribers: Existing active Time Fibre Home subscriptions are not eligible for this contest. Subscribers may however be eligible in the event the sign up is for a new address within Time Fibre Home’s coverage areas within Perak.
    • Exception: Sign-ups completed during the Time Fibre Home event at Ipoh Parade (21-24 November 2024) are eligible (for eligible plans only). If the selected winner has signed up during the event and activated service prior to the winner announcement, the Discount Promotion will begin with their next billing cycle and continue for 12 months.

Eligible Customers
  1. Participant’s service address is within Time Fibre Home coverage area in Perak
  2. Participant’s address is not currently subscribed to Time Fibre Home*
  3. Participant has to be 18 years old and above

If the selected winner has signed up during the event and activated service prior to the winner announcement, the Discount Promotion will begin with their next billing cycle and continue for 12 months.

Special Note:

Customers who sign up for the Eligible Plans from 11 November 2024- 24 November 2024 around Perak are eligible for this Discount Promotion provided that they attend the Time Fibre Home event at Ipoh Parade (21-24 November 2024) to scan and submit their entry form.

Promotion Qualifications
  1. Selected winner must sign up for and activate his/her Time Fibre Home service within 2 months of receiving the winner notification email. Otherwise, the Discount Promotion will be deemed invalid.
  2. How will it be provided?

The FREE 1-Year Time Fibre Home subscription will be deducted from the customer’s monthly bill for the next 12 months whereby the commencement date & end date will follow the subscriber’s bill cycle. Monthly broadband fee of your subscribed plan applies after month 12.

Special Promotion Terms
  1. Non-Transferability of Prize: The prize is non-transferable to a different account holder name with a different service address, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other items.
  2. Other Charges: Winner is still subject to prorated charges (if any) and other charges such as deposits, voice calls, add-ons, etc. The monthly broadband subscription discount is only applicable to the Time Fibre Home subscription.
  3. Overlapping Promotions: The FREE 1-Year Time Fibre Home will supersede other existing discounts or promotions that are tied to the winner’s broadband subscription monthly fee that the winner may be enjoying. In the event that the winner is currently enjoying monthly discounts tied to their 24-month contract period, the FREE 1-Year Time Fibre Home will still supersede all of its monthly discounts but the contract period will still remain i.e. it will not be reset or nor will it be canceled.
  4. Plan Modification: In the event that the winner chooses to upgrade or downgrade his/her subscription plan after the prize has been awarded but before or during the term of the Discount Promotion, the monthly discount will follow the value of the winner’s subscription plan at the point in which the prize is awarded to the winner;
    1. Plan upgrade – winners will need to pay the difference in price based on the upgrade. For example, if the winner upgrades from 600Mbps (RM139/month) to 1Gbps (RM199/month), he/she will need to pay the difference of RM60/month every month until the Promotion Period ends.
    2. Plan downgrade – The excess monthly discount amount will be used to offset future bills, which means the discount might run longer than 12 months. For example, if the winner downgrades from 1Gbps (RM199/month) to 600Mbps (RM139/month), there will be an excess of RM60 every month and the excess amount will run beyond the period of 12 months until the value of the Discount Promotion has been fully utilised. However, do note that you are not allowed to downgrade within the first 6 months of your contract. Downgrades performed within the contract period will result in contract reset.
  5. Termination: In the event that the winner chooses to terminate their Time Fibre Home after the prize has been awarded but before or during the term of the Discount Promotion, the total discount or discount for the remaining months will be forfeited. The discount cannot be used to offset any early termination fee tied to the subscription, or be refunded or transferred to another active account.
  6. Transfer of Ownership: In the event that the winner opts to transfer ownership of the service to a new account holder (provided there is no change in the service address) after the prize has been awarded but before or during the term of the Discount Promotion, the total discount or discount for the remaining months will be transferred to the new owner.
  7. Relocation: In the event that the winner chooses to relocate to another service address after the prize has been awarded but before or during the term of the Discount Promotion, the total discount or discount for the remaining months will not be impacted.
  8. Contest Termination or Modification Rights: Time dotCom reserves the right to modify or terminate the contest at any time without prior notice if circumstances arise that are beyond our control or make it impossible to continue the contest as initially intended.
  9. Disclaimer of Liability: Time dotCom is not responsible for any technical issues that may interfere with or affect the entry process, winner selection, or any other aspect of the contest. Time dotCom assumes no liability for any incorrect or inaccurate information provided by the participant.
  10. Privacy and Data Usage: By participating in this contest, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information solely for purposes related to this promotion and in accordance with Time dotCom’s privacy policy. Personal data will not be shared with third parties without the participant’s consent, except as required for the administration of the contest or by law.

 

Promotion Terms and Conditions

This Promotion is as specified in the Promotion Information Details (“Promotion”) and is strictly made available to Eligible Customers who meet the Promotion Qualifications during the Promotion Period and is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). It is important that customers’ read these Terms and Conditions together with the Promotion Information Details:-

  1. For clarity, this Promotion Terms and Conditions is applicable in relation to the Promotion only, and Time Fiber Home services are governed by the terms and conditions on www.time.com.my. This Promotion is only applicable during the Promotion Period beginning on the start date and shall continue until its expiry or unless sooner cancelled by Time. Time reserves the right to cease and/or cancel the Promotion at any time before the expiry of the Promotion Period without any prior notice.
  2. This Promotion is not to be construed in any way howsoever as a contract of sale, exchange, lease, hire-purchase, or hire between Time and the Eligible Customer.
  3. Promotion is only available to Eligible Customers and is subject to Eligible Customers meeting the Promotion Qualifications. Any customer who does not meet the Promotion Qualifications is not an Eligible Customer and is not entitled to the provision of the Promotion.
  4. If there are multiple promotions available during the same Promotion Period, including this Promotion, and the customer is an Eligible Customer to more than one promotion, the customer must choose only one promotion. A customer cannot make multiple choices of the promotions, nor do anything to secure or gain the benefits offered in multiple promotions. Once the customer has chosen the promotion, the customer is no longer eligible for any other promotions that are available at the same time.
  5. Time reserves the right to and at its sole discretion, may refuse to provide the Promotion to the Eligible Customer regardless of whether the customer is an Eligible Customer and meets the Promotion Qualifications.
  6. If the Promotion is the provision of a gift or a voucher from Time, Time’s partners, suppliers or subcontractors, Time and its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, partners and/or subcontractors may provide such gift or voucher on an “as is” basis and without any warranty or condition, whether express or implied, by law or by contract, including warranties as to title, merchantability, fitness for purpose, satisfactory quality, performance, non-infringement of any third party’s intellectual property or proprietary rights or product liability. Should a physical good be obtained as a gift or upon redemption of a voucher, and the customer suffers any form of physical injury or damage, such injury or damage may be claimed against the manufacturer or distributor of the physical good and not against Time, which is deemed not to be a supplier.
  7. If the Promotion is the provision of a Monthly Rebate or One-off Rebate or discount (as set out in the Promotion Information Details) to the customer, then if the customer terminates the service agreement with Time before the expiry of the minimum period or if there is no minimum period specified, then twelve months from service activation date, then Eligible Customer shall not be entitled to receive any discount or cash rebate for the unexpired period and Time may seek to recover all earlier provided discounts or rebates on the basis that customer warrants to stay a customer of Time for the minimum period or twelve months (as the case may be).
  8. In addition, no advice or information obtained (whether orally or written) by the customer from Time, or its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, partners and/or subcontractors shall create any warranty or right to sue.
  9. Time reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions during the Promotion Period and such revision, amendment, and/or modification shall be made available at www.time.com.my and is binding on all Eligible Customers. Continued access and use of the service shall deem to be your acceptance to the changes and updates to these Terms and Conditions.
  10. If the Promotion Qualifications includes the signing up of a new service, then in such a case, all other terms and conditions governing the use of the new service shall apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
  11. All personal information provided by customer is subject to Time’s Privacy Policy (details of which are available at https://www.time.com.my/privacy-policy).

Capitalised words have the meaning as specified in the Promotion Information Details. If in the Promotion Information Details there are Special Promotion Terms drawn up, then such Special Promotion Terms shall prevail over these Terms and Conditions in the event of conflict, inconsistency or ambiguity.
