Shah Alam, 6 September 2022 – TIME dotCom [“TIME”] today announced their partnership with Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group. Through this collaboration, TIME can now provide a direct and dedicated connection to Alibaba Cloud Express Connect via its TIME Cloud Interconnect Direct (TCID) service.
Alibaba Cloud Express Connect is a cloud-based solution that helps establish a fast, stable, secure and private direct network connectivity between Alibaba Cloud’s network and a customer’s data centre. As the trusted cloud gateway for enterprise cloud services in Malaysia, TCID’s connection to the Alibaba Cloud network ensures secured data transmission, stable and uninterrupted connectivity, and a minimised risk of data breaches.
Network deployment can also be accomplished in a matter of days owing to the TCID infrastructure – a Service Level Agreement of up to 99.9%, a 24x7x365 support and up to 10Gbps of customisable bandwidth for scalability. This will allow businesses to operate efficiently, save on costs and access the Alibaba Cloud network quickly and securely.
“We are proud to partner with Alibaba Cloud to ensure secured data transmission and consistent performance for our customers to thrive. With TCID, enterprises can build on our MEF 3.0-certified Metro Ethernet line which allows direct access to the cloud and becomes the foundation of a multi-cloud ecosystem,” said Kit Au, Executive Vice President of Enterprise Business of TIME dotCom.
According to a survey commissioned by Alibaba Cloud in 2021, 65% of businesses in Asia have already adopted at least one technology solution from an Asian provider[1]. In Malaysia alone, the public cloud market, which amounts to 3.63% of the total IT spending in the country, has already reached USD643.4 million[2].
Apart from Alibaba Cloud, TCID currently supports Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS Direct Connectivity. This makes TIME the first in Malaysia to have partnered with four of the biggest global cloud service providers. Watch our video to find out exactly how TCID helps businesses digitalise and grow.
